CheckPublicIP.com is an independent website operated by the CheckPublicIP Team, a small group of developers who build and maintain the site and its tools. It is not affiliated with any internet provider, government body, or the other IP-checking services on the web. The site is funded by advertising. How it works
The site runs on Cloudflare's global edge network, so your request is answered by a server close to you — usually in a few milliseconds. Your IP address and connection details (ISP, approximate city, timezone) are read from the request itself by Cloudflare and rendered on the page. We do not keep a database of visitors' IP addresses.
