The service

CheckPublicIP.com displays the public IP address of your connection and related network information, and provides free lookup and diagnostic tools. The Service is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the Service to harass, stalk, or harm others.
• Do not send automated traffic at volumes that degrade the Service. Reasonable programmatic use of /api/ip and /api/json is welcome; we may rate-limit or block abusive clients.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. IP geolocation data is approximate and provided by third parties; we do not guarantee its accuracy, availability, or fitness for any purpose. Do not rely on the Service for safety-critical or legal decisions.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CheckPublicIP.com and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

Advertising and third parties

The Service may display third-party advertisements and uses third-party providers for maps and IP data, as described in our Privacy Policy.
